Can I send you my empty pill bottles? Yes! I’ll gladly take your orange, green, blue, red, yellow, or purple Rx bottles. They must be made of #5 plastic (polypropylene). Please remove the labels and save up a minimum of 20 bottles before shipping. Once I receive the bottles I’ll send you a discount code as a thank you. Simply email hello@cocoplumco.com to get started. Please note that due to the overwhelming interest in this initiative I’m not able to cover the shipping costs. If you’re located near one of these drop-off locations, you’re welcome to bring your pill bottles there: Mighty Market (Martinez, CA), Fillgood (Berkeley, CA), Ethos (Los Altos, CA), The Refill Market (Haddon Township, NJ), Anderson’s Seed and Garden (Logan, UT), New Mexico Lions Operation KidSight (Las Cruces, NM), 86 Plastic (Troy, MI), The Eastwood Refillery (Syracuse, NY), Home Ec. Market (Presque Isle, ME) and Walking Lightly (Ferndale, MI). To claim your discount code, snap a selfie while dropping off your bottles and email it to hello@cocoplumco.com.
Additionally, we partner with Ridwell. If you’re in a Ridwell service area, consider recycling through them to contribute to our growing supply of recycled bottles! - Where do you ship? In order to reduce emissions related to transport, I only ship within the united States.

- How are the lenses made? The polyamide lenses are made from 39% bio-based raw materials that come from agricultural and wood industry waste and they’re manufactured in a facility that uses 100% renewable electricity. These sustainable practices reduce the carbon footprint by up to 50% compared to traditional lenses. The lenses have been certified by European Commission accredited certification system, REDCert.
